The Facilities Director oversees the maintenance, safety and functionality of First Presbyterian Church Atlanta properties including the main campus, parking deck and lot, and the senior pastor's residence, ensuring they meet the needs of occupants and operate efficiently. The role is responsible for managing building upkeep, vendor relationships, budgets and compliance with regulations. The Facilities Director ensures all church spaces are ready for worship services, ministries, scheduled events and community use - embodying hospitality, excellence and stewardship in support of the church's mission. the role supervises the facility engineer and specialists and relevant service contracts. Key responsibilities include building maintenance and operations, supervision of facilities team and team leadership, facility scheduling and operational readiness, vendor management, budget management and collaboration with church staff. • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders and build strong relationships and support a team environment.
• Experience: 3 years in a leadership role required; 7+ years of experience in facilities management in a commercial, non-profit or faith-based setting including managing vendor contracts including security, cleaning and repairs and maintenance.
